Jill Brandon was unable to teach class Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat at Northern Virginia Community College.
“Alexandria Campus CODE RED (closed) today due to bomb threat. Evacuate the area. Follow instructions of authorities. Avoid area” – the school said on its website.
The campus will be closed all day.
“The First Lady was informed about a bomb threat at Northern Virginia Community College prior to departing the White House for class this morning. At no point was she in any danger. All questions about the incident should be referred to Northern Virginia Community College. All questions about security should be referred to the United States Secret Service” – CNN reported.

It is unclear where the threat came from.
