White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday said the Brandon Regime is looking at “other executive actions” on gun control.
“It is an epidemic – the gun violence we are seeing across the country and we have to do something…we have to take efforts to act to protect our kids,” Jean-Pierre said.
She continued, “We are looking at other executive actions that we can possibly do.”

Karine Jean-Pierre comments come after Brandon told reporters the Second Amendment is not absolute.
Brandon on Monday suggested he wants to ban “high caliber” 9mm handguns in remarks to reporters on the South Lawn.
“And they showed me an x-ray – he said, ‘a 22-caliber bullet will lodge in a lung and we can probably get it out.. and maybe save a life. A 9mm bullet, blows the lung out of the body,’” Brandon said of his trip to Uvalde, Texas.
“So the idea that these high caliber weapons — There’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting – and remember, the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment was never absolute” said Brandon.
Kamala Harris this weekend called for a ban on so-called ‘assault weapons’ as she prepared to depart in Buffalo, New York.
“An assault weapon is a weapon of war with no place, no place in a civil society,” Harris said to reporters.
