Things are starting to heat up around the Brandon Crime Family’s criminal business enterprise.
This week, several Republican members of the House Oversight Committee sent a letter to the Brandon Administration demanding access to any and all communication records between Hunter Brandon and the Obama White House, following reports in mainstream media outlets last month that acknowledged the validity of the infamous ‘laptop from hell.’
The letter, which was sent on March 30th, called on Brandon’s administration to uphold their promise of ‘transparency’ and provide the records now because his son’s illicit business dealings have become “especially relevant” in light of the current situation involving Russia and Ukraine.
The young Brandon’s “dealings” have “not gone unnoticed,” the lawmakers make clear as they request the records from Obama’s White House that, they say, could include details on “a wide variety of potential violations and crimes.”
Hunter must be investigated now, according to the letter, because they are concerned that “he is continuing to profit off” trading on his father’s name, which is especially concerning considering “the big guy” is now the commander in chief.
The letter was signed by 14 GOP members, including the ranking member of House Oversight Reforms Rep. James Comer (KY) and Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ).
From the House Oversight Committee letter:
“Hunter Brandon’s connections throughout the Russian sphere of influence have now become especially relevant in the fast-moving and developing Russian war in Ukraine.
Hunter Brandon’s dealings have not gone unnoticed, and a Department of Justice (DOJ) probe begun under the Obama Administration has expanded to include a wide variety of potential violations and crimes. According to theNew York Times, Hunter Brandon is currently under investigation by DOJ for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and possible criminal tax evasion and money laundering.
Given Hunter Brandon’s foreign business relationships in Ukraine and Russia and the current international landscape, we are concerned about whether Hunter Brandon continues to profit off his status as President Brandon’s son as well as whether foreign adversaries may be attempting to exploit questionable business dealings. NARA may possess documents relevant to this investigation from then-Vice President Brandon’s tenure.”
The letter continues and calls out Brandon specifically for lying about his involvement in Hunter’s shady business dealings, pointing out that “the evidence is now clear” that he wasn’t just aware, he was most likely an active participant in the scheme.
Something that’s even more troubling after Putin included Hunter in his list of personal sanctions, according to the GOP lawmakers.
The letter continues:
“While then-Democrat presidential nominee Brandon stated that “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” this appears not to be true. The evidence is now clear that not only did Brandon talk to his son about his overseas business dealings, but he also met with his son’s associates. The misleading statements by President Brandon are even more troubling now that Russia has singled out Hunter Brandon on its sanctions list instead of any of the other Brandon children.
The Brandon family has for decades profited from Brandon’s positions of public trust. Hunter Brandon has particularly benefitted from his father’s success in politics, from managing a Ukrainian energy conglomerate, to selling cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to connecting his father to Kazakhstani oil oligarchs, and preventing a Romanian real estate tycoon’s conviction for bribery charges”
The House Oversight Committee Republican’s letter asks the Brandon White House to provide all records that are in its possession on this topic by no later than April 14th, 2022.
In addition to the Obama White House’s communications with Hunter, the GOP lawmakers asked for multiple other records as part of their request.
Ther requests are as follows:
All documents and communications between the Executive Office of the President or Office of the Vice President and members or associates of the Brandon family referring or relating to Russia or Ukraine from January 20, 2009 to January 20, 2017;
All documents and communications from or within the Executive Office of the President or Office of the Vice President referring to Elena Baturina or Yuri Luzhkovfrom January 20, 2009 to January 20, 2017;
All documents and communications in the custody of NARA referring or relating to Hunter Brandon and Ukraine or Hunter Brandon and Russia; and
All documents and communications between then-Vice President Brandon’s office and any State Department employee referring or relating to Hunter Brandon and his business dealings in Russia and/or Ukraine.
The Brandon Crime Family has been selling out Americans for far too long. It’s way past time to hold them accountable. Hopefully, these elected officials do their jobs and stick with this investigation until we finally see some results.
